Linden Mallory
Growing up between Colorado and France, Linden spent his childhood roaming the mountains of Rockies and the French Alps and developed a passion for the mountain lifestyles of both places. He went on to receive his BA in Geography from Dartmouth College where he also raced on Dartmouth's NCAA Championship ski team. A guide at RMI since 2004, Linden leads climbs for RMI in Washington and Alaska as well as international expeditions to Russia, Africa, South America, and Nepal. He has more than two dozen international expeditions under his belt including the organization and management of several Himalayan expeditions; when not guiding Linden works on RMI's international operations and marketing. Linden founded Cairn Mountain Company, a map publishing company with products for mountains such as Mt. Rainier, and also serves on the board of To Return, a non profit that provides scholarships and educational opportunities for the children of local guides and porters on Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Linden is an avid skier, biker, and trail runner and has competed in numerous ultramarathons.
